Line of Duty
Line of Duty is a British police procedural television series created by Jed Mercurio and produced by World Productions. After refusing to be a part of a cover-up concerning an accidental shooting, Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott is assigned to a police anti-corruption team. AC-12, a notorious police anti-corruption team, is investigated in this drama series.
The first season premiered on BBC Two on June 26, 2012, and it was the show's best-performing drama series in ten years, with a total viewership of 4.1 million viewers. It was named one of the top 50 BBC Two shows of all time, as well as one of the top 80 BBC shows of all time. The series was named ninth in The Independent's top twenty police shows of all time in 2016, and third in a Radio Times poll of the best British crime dramas of all time in 2018.
