Yes, Prime Minister

Yes, Minister is a political satire comedy created by Antony Jay and Jonathan Lynn in the United Kingdom. Jim Hacker is now Prime Minister, and Sir Humphrey Appleby is Cabinet Secretary, following in the footsteps of Yes Minister. Bernard, Hacker's personal secretary, is also there for the voyage. As in past positions, Hacker and Sir Humphrey's duties often devolve into a war of agendas, ideologies, wills, and wits.

It was initially shown on BBC2 from 1980 to 1984 and consisted of three seven-episode episodes. The series won a number of BAFTAs and was chosen sixth in Britain's Best Sitcom poll in 2004. Margaret Thatcher, the then-Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, had it as her favorite television show.
