Monty Python's Flying Circus
Monty Python's Flying Circus (abbreviated MPFC) is a British surreal sketch comedy series developed by and starring Monty Python's Flying Circus. This is the Monty Python troupe's first bizarre sketch comedy presentation. The irreverent Monty Python comedy troupe performs a series of weird, raunchy, uncompromising, obscene sketches, all of which are always hilarious.
After originally failing to attract an audience in the United States, the show acquired popularity in the United States after member stations of the Public Broadcasting Service began showing it in 1974. The Pythons went on live tours and made three more films as a result of their popularity on both sides of the Atlantic, while the individual Pythons flourished in solo careers. Monty Python's Flying Circus has had a significant impact on both comedy and popular culture.
