Linköping University
Linköping University is a public university in the Swedish city of Linköping. In 1975, Linköping University was granted full university status, and it is currently one of Sweden's most prestigious academic institutions. Four colleges are responsible for education, research, and PhD training: Arts and Sciences, Educational Sciences, Medicine and Health Sciences, and the Institute of Technology.
There are 12 significant departments that combine expertise from various fields and often belong to more than one faculty in order to encourage interdisciplinary cooperation. In terms of both research and instruction, Linköping University emphasizes engagement with the neighboring business community and the general public. Linköping University had 32,000 students and 4,000 workers in 2018.
Linköping University provides 120 study programs, 550 single-subject courses, and specialized and interdisciplinary postgraduate studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels. A huge number of degree programs lead to professional certifications in sectors including health, business and economics, teacher education, and engineering.
