London School of Economics and Political Science

The London School of Economics and Political Science is a public research and education institution specializing in the social sciences in London, and a member school of the University of London. The LSE was founded in 1895, officially joined the University of London in 1900 as a faculty of economics, and began awarding its own diploma in 1902.

LSE is known as one of the most prestigious universities in the world for teaching and research in the fields of social sciences. In addition, LSE is one of the universities having the largest number of international students of all global universities.

Many of the alumni and faculty who have studied and worked at LSE have made great contributions to fields ranging from Politics, Business, Law, Finance to Literature, Music, Acting and Education. Among them are 16 Nobel laureates in the fields of Economics, Peace and Literature.
