University of Glasgow

The University of Glasgow is the largest university in the city of Glasgow, Scotland (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), founded in 1451. The University of Glasgow is one of the prestigious training and research institutions in the UK and around the world.

In Scotland, the University of Glasgow along with the University of St Andrews, the University of Edinburgh (founded in 1583) have always been competitors in the competition for the quality of training and scientific research. The University of Glasgow is also the only school in Scotland that trains all professions from Science, Engineering, Medicine - Pharmacy, Law, Economic and Social groups.

Besides, the university also has a system of modern facilities, the largest library in Europe and a world standard gymnasium system. The gym system includes an Olympic standard swimming pool, specialized sports machines for athletes to practice.
