Love Handle's meats are here to change all of that. When visitors walk into Asia's first plant-based butcher, they're welcomed by a glass counter stocked with various pieces of meat, ranging from smoked brisket slivers to raw meatballs, calamari rings to unagi fillets, and even beef wellingtons. There was an odd sense of familiarity in the air as if folks were going to any other butcher. The butchery is divided into three departments that feature raw meats, marinated and prepared meats, sauces, and dairy. It also delivers thoroughly researched in-house creations alongside industry leaders like Impossible, Tindle, Growthwell, and many more.
Customers are encouraged to pay them a visit and make their way up to the cozy 40-seater dining space, where they can sample a totally plant-based meal designed by chef-owner Addis Tan and his staff. Tuck into delicately battered Enoki Tempura, creamy Cream Spinach Loaded Fries, or Mom's Luncheon Meat, which has delicious chunks of Omni Pork stir-fried with dark soy sauce with caramelized onions and pickled cucumbers to provide a refreshing twist to the mix. Celeriac Alfredo is a must-try since the delicate celeriac pasta tasted crisp, clean, and vegetal. Topped with an in-house Hao Gan Ma infused chile oil, earthy grilled oyster mushrooms, and a soy milk alfredo sauce.
