Whole Earth
Whole Earth, Singapore's first and only Peranakan-Thai vegetarian restaurant, was formed in 2003 with the objective of elevating the standard of plant-based cookery and promoting it to a wider audience beyond vegetarians and vegans in their little red dot. Its recently renovated interiors feature emerald green walls, more seats, and a superior ventilation system, all for your dining enjoyment. Locals, expats, and tourists alike appreciate the fresh vegetables, legumes, mushrooms, and grains, which are prepared to true Peranakan and Thai standards.
Using only the freshest ingredients, prepared and simmered with care, the restaurant strives to provide you with consistently high quality and taste. Order a variety of meals to share, but don't skip the Nonya curry. The robust Peranakan-style curry is served with meatball-like minced mushrooms and potatoes. Sweet and sour 'pork' and crunchy handmade yam rings packed with goodies are two other vegetarian spins on zi char mainstays.
