Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a turn-based strategy adventure game for the Nintendo Switch video game console developed by Ubisoft Milan and published by Ubisoft and Nintendo. The game is a collaboration between Nintendo's Mario and Ubisoft's Raving Rabbids series. The story of Kingdom Battle follows Mario, his friends, and a group of Rabbids as they try to save the Mushroom Kingdom from invading Rabbids who have accidentally misused a powerful invention and are wreaking havoc.

Ubisoft Milan creative director Davide Soliani and Ubisoft brand producer Xavier Manzanares created Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle in 2014. The design goals were to emphasize the dissonance of both franchises and to create a strategy game with distinct elements. As a result, its visual elements and animation were made to be casual and vibrant, and its music was composed by Grant Kirkhope, a well-known video game composer. Although the game received a negative reaction when it was first leaked, owing primarily to its use of the Rabbids franchise and weaponry, it was praised when it was officially announced at E3 2017. The game received mostly positive reviews, with praise for its characters and turn-based combat.
