Marvel's Spider-Man

Marvel's Spider-Man is an open-world action-adventure game set in Manhattan, a fictionalized version of modern-day New York City. It is shown in third-person, with the camera freely rotating around the playing character. The main playable character is the superhero Spider-Man, who can explore the world by leaping, using his web-shooters to fire webs that allow him to swing across buildings, a sprint along walls, and automatically vault over barriers. The player may carefully target webs to draw himself towards certain places. Swinging requires physical objects to connect webs too, and the momentum and speed of the swing may be regulated by releasing the web at particular locations to gain height or move more swiftly.

Combat is carried out through the use of three buttons: one for evading, one for physical blows, and one for web-based assaults. Webbing may be utilized to incapacitate foes and attach them to adjacent objects, eliminating them from conflict instantly. Enemies who fall from tremendous heights are instantly fastened to a nearby surface in a web cocoon, saving their lives. Spider-Man may also battle by jumping off walls and hurling things such as manhole covers, grenades, and webbing-restrained foes.
