Microtheater landed in the United States thanks to Jorge Monje, who soon founded Microtheater Miami in partnership with CCEMiami. Microtheater Miami presents original 15-minute plays in English and Spanish inside shipping containers, creating a unique experience. MicroTheater Miami offers a unique opportunity for everyone to present their theatrical works. They only accept plays that follow these guidelines: the duration of the play must be between 10 and 15 minutes; they have to follow the theme for the season, and they are pure theatrical texts.

Do you want to experience a revolutionary and new way of experiencing the theater? Come to Microtheater Miami to see theater like never before: 14 plays of 15 minutes each, performed 6 times each night inside cargo containers with a capacity for 15 spectators each. An intimate and personal way to experience the theater and be close to the artists for only $5 a ticket. Also, order a sangria, a wine, or a beer at their bar or something to eat at their street food stalls. Every five weeks they change the season.
