According to competing and dedicated website Missosology, the high-end headpiece was designed by FUQI China. The cost is approximately US $ 361,446 or 18.99 million pesos (3 million yuan).
FUQI China is the Official Jewelery Sponsor of Miss Intercontinental 2005 hosted by WBO.
"Its design is inspired by water, the source of life that embodies the natural beauty and innocence of women," Missosologia said.
"The crown will remain in the WBO office and will only be used for the coronation of the new Miss Intercontinental," he added. According to the pageant website, the crown is set with 720 diamonds, totaling 21 carats. It is also said to contain a huge 0.50 carat diamond. Meanwhile, Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray's legendary Phoenix crown is adorned with more than 100 pearls that represent power, status and beauty.
