The Romanov Imperial nuptial crown (1952-1953)

This was the first crown previously owned by the Russian czar. The first Miss Universe crown was worn by Armi Kusela of Finland, of course: Armi Kussela from Finland.

The Romanov Imperial nuptial crown (1952-1953) is said to have been made from approximately 1,535 flawless diamonds. The estimated value of the diamond is unknown, but it is said to be insured for $500,000. Ironically, the wedding crown was used in honor of "Miss."
