Peace Crown by Diamond Nexus Labs
From 2009 to 2013, the Crown of the World produced by Diamond Nexus Labs was used. Stephania Fernandez of Venezuela, Miss Universe 2009, was the first to wear the crown. During the 5 years (2009-2013) this crown was used, two winners were won in this beauty pageant. Since all the stones used artificial leather, it was in the limelight as an eco-friendly crown.
Diamond Nexus Labs created the crown with 1,371 gems totaling 416 carats. An alloy containing 14K and 18K white gold and platinum. However, in 2009, before the world crown title was official, there was an online voting system for Miss Universe fans around the world.
