More Than Blue (2009)

The love story of Kay (Kwon Sang Woo) and Cream (Lee Bo Young) is the subject of the gorgeous yet depressing love song "More Than Blue". Since they were both orphans growing up, Kay and Cream made the decision to live together and raise their children as a unit. Although they shared a home, they were never a couple, despite Kay's long-standing love for her neighbor. Kay's debilitating condition kept him from revealing his affections for Cream. He collaborated with a single man named Joo Hwan for Cream in his final days because he wanted Cream to have someone to look out for and protect him in the future.

"More Than Blue" has dried up many people's tears with its depressing subject matter and direction from two great actors, Kwon Sang Woo and Lee Bo Young. The popularity of "More Than Bue" was made possible by Lee Bo Young's natural acting, which seemed to bring the audience into the rhythm of the drama. The movie was a box office sensation in Korea at the time of release. The movie also held the number one spot at the box office for a number of days at the same time.
