Most Basketball Slam-Dunked By a Parrot

Zac, a 25-year-old parrot who holds the Guinness World Record for the most basketballs slam-dunked by a parrot in a minute, is trained by and owned by parrot trainers Julie and Ed Cardoza. For more than 20 years, the Cardoza family of San Jose, California, has performed a performance with their trained birds at birthday celebrations, business gatherings, libraries, and educational institutions. Zac can turn over, wave a flag, skateboard, cycle, scooter, and do other things.

The Harlequin Macaw was nurtured by Julie and Ed since he was a youngster and trained every day for 22 years until his recent retirement. Now, according to Julie, he merely shoots hoops for enjoyment. He also holds the record for the most drink cans a parrot has opened in a minute.
