Obafemi Awolowo University

The Obafemi Awolowo University, formerly known as the University of Ife, was founded in 1962. In terms of landmass, the university is one of the largest in the country. It covers a total area of 11,862 hectares. The institution has a core campus, a student residential area, staff housing, and a teaching and research farm as a result of its location.


The Obafemi Awolowo University is another prestigious institution that has been recognized as one of Africa's greatest academic institutions. The OAU is one of the most prestigious schools in the country's southwest, located in the state of Osun.
