Organizational Analysis

You will explore several theories of organizational behavior and apply them to actual situations of organizational change in this beginning, self-paced course.

Organizations are as diverse and complex as they are ubiquitous: they vary in size and internal structure; they can entail a variety of goals and tasks (some planned, others unplanned! ); they are made up of individuals whose goals and motivations may differ from those of the group; and, in order to be successful, they must interact with other organizations and deal with environmental constraints. This intricacy frequently causes a slew of issues for organizational participants as well as the organization's long-term viability.

This Organizational Analysis course
will use organizational theories to examine how an organization runs and how it may be managed most effectively. Organizational theories emphasize specific aspects of a company's structure and environment, as well as its negotiation, production, and change processes. You'll be able to systematically identify important features of an organization and the events that are transforming it, choose the most applicable theoretical framework for the observed mode of organizing, and use that theory to determine which actions will best redirect the organization in desired directions if you have a toolkit of organizational theories.

In summary, the course aims to familiarize students with a variety of real-world organizational phenomena, teach them different theoretical viewpoints that can explain these phenomena, and apply these varied methods of "seeing" and managing organizations to real-world examples. The course is structured in such a way that it actively connects theory and practice, exposing students to a variety of conceptual tools and approaches to negotiating unfamiliar circumstances. This is one of the Best Online Business Psychology Courses.
