Osezaki

Osezaki is a dive site located on the Izu Peninsula, about 3 hours by train from Shinagawa Station. With a clear view of Mount Fuji in the backdrop, Osezaki is not only one of the famous spots for scuba diving in Tokyo but also one of the most beautiful dive sites in Japan. And this is the only reason why Osezaki is popular during typhoon or other weather conditions. And taking the view of Mount Fuji in the bay reveals the fact that visitors are diving into Japan. These dives do not have many and diverse large species, such as sharks, barracudas, and other large body fish in some other diving locations, however, small fish such as shellless mollusks and shrimp are very much here.

It has a unique shaped bay which attracts a lot of attention of many tourists and often it is away from the bad weather. There are also several night dives in the inner bay and it is an amazing experience. This place is narrowed down only for technical divers. An expert at the dive site said the bay area is quite enclosed so it is still possible to dive on days when the weather is a bit bad and new people do not have to worry too much about what is underwater.
