PDNB Gallery
Since 1995, the PDNB Gallery (PDNB stands for Photographs Do Not Bend) in Dallas' Design District has proudly shown photographs and lens-based artworks.
The gallery's permanent collection includes works by well-known artists such as Magnum photographer Elliot Erwitt's iconic photographs and botanist-turned-camera Karl Blossfeldt's sculptural flower arrangements. However, there are some modern pieces here as well, such as Michael Kenna's black and white New York landscapes and a few of Jock Sturges' controversial nude portraits of adolescents. The rotating exhibition program is also very interesting because it provides knowledge about the history and infinite forms of photography for visitors.
