The Goss-Michael Foundation

Not everyone knows this, but George Michael, like his former partner Kenny Goss, is an art enthusiast and collector in addition to his international renown and success as one of the greatest pop stars of all time.

Goss and Michael started a commercial art gallery in Dallas in 2005, specializing in British contemporary art, but they quickly recognized they needed to reach out to a larger audience than the few wealthy individuals who could afford to buy the work on exhibition. The Goss-Michael Foundation was founded two years later. This public space hosts a number of rotating exhibitions, each including a selection from the Foundation's collection of 500 works by over 75 British artists.
