Ponagar Cham Tower Festival
Ponagar Cham Tower Festival is a traditional event of the Cham people in Khanh Hoa province, this is the biggest as well as one of the most famous folk festivals of the year to commemorate the merits of the goddess Yang Po Inu Nagar for helping the people, bringing good things and happiness to everyone. In addition to the traditional ceremonies, the festival also has many rich cultural activities such as: Cham traditional dances, exhibition of pictures related to the Cham kingdom, Cham singing, making traditional pottery of the Cham people and performing Cham brocade weaving.
Ponagar Thap Ba Festival is known by many tourists and included in their schedule of Nha Trang travel. This festival is usually held at the Ponagar Ponagar Tower relic complex in Nha Trang, which is a complex of Champa architecture and is a mark of the ancient Champa kingdom to Vietnamese culture. The statues of Lord Shiva riding the Bull god Nandin, the mascots, elaborate carvings and sculptures built in the 13th century, have been preserved until now, representing the unique architecture of Champa Culture.
