Hung King's death anniversary or Hung temple festival or National death anniversary is a holiday of Vietnam. This is a traditional festival of Vietnamese people to remember the merits of building the country of Hung Vuong. The traditional ceremony is held annually on the 10th day of the third lunar month at Hung Temple, Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province and is celebrated by Vietnamese people all over the world. Belief in worshiping Hung Vuong has been registered by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam on the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage and recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The Hung Temple Festival takes place on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, however, the festival actually took place weeks before with customs such as stabbing (beating bronze drums) of the Muong ethnic group, pilgrimage to commemorate the kings and ends on the 10th day of the third lunar month with a palanquin procession and incense offering on the Upper Temple. The Hung Temple Festival is now raised by the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the national death anniversary, and is held in even-numbered years.

Lim festival is one of the most famous festivals in Bac Ninh attracting tourists to visit and celebrate the beginning of spring with special programs, listening to Quan ho melodies and playing many folk games. The Lim festival opens with a procession with a large number of people participating. On the festival day, many special folk rituals and games take place such as the custom of worshiping queens. All officials, incense elders, and men of the village must fully gather at Hong Van mausoleum to be able to offer sacrifices to the post-god. When performing rituals, male and female singers will sing Quan ho to praise the merits of the god. The festival takes place all over the villages in Noi Due canton and Hong Van mountain is the center, with a solemn and heroic ritual of sacrificial procession and many fun, unique and attractive games such as playing human chess, sing Quan ho, the nest of prostitutes, weave a cloth contest and so on.

Tran Temple Festival is held from the 15th to the 20th day of the eighth lunar month every year in Loc Vuong ward, Nam Dinh city, Nam Dinh province to pay tribute to the merits of the 14 Tran kings. Since 2000, Nam Dinh has held the Tran Temple Sealing Ceremony at dawn on January 15. At first, the custom of opening the seal was limited to the space of Tuc Mac village, gradually becoming a big festival. The seal, which is square and made of wood, was made in the Nguyen Dynasty, late 19th century, early 20th century.
The East and West sides of the seal border are engraved with two dragons, the South side of the seal border is engraved with four words "Tích phúc vô cương". "Trần Miếu tự điển" has the classic content, the custom of worshiping at the Tran temple, the scope and small scale is the Tran family in Tuc Mac village. The Tran Temple festival is solemnly celebrated. The ceremony took place with processions from surrounding communal houses and temples to offer incense and sacrifice at Thuong temple to worship 14 Tran kings. In the incense offering ceremony, 14 virgin girls wearing 14 flower trays enter the temple to the ceremony to offer to the 14 kings. This ceremony is a retrospective of the ancient feudal court style.

Giong Festival is a big and unique festival commemorating Saint Giong, one of the "immortal" saints of Vietnamese folk beliefs. It is also one of the most famous and biggest festivals that has existed for thousands of years of history.
Right from about 2-3 weeks before the opening day of the festival, the villages participating in the festival have started preparing for the festival. According to the content written on the stele number 6 of the 8-sided stele, the assignment of procession of offerings in festivals of the villages is distributed in the following order: Ve Linh village (Phu Linh commune) procession of bamboo flower baskets, villages Duoc Thuong (Tien Duoc commune) procession of elephants, Dan Tao village (Tan Minh commune) procession of betel nut and areca nut, Duc Hau village (Duc Hoa commune) procession of ivory, Yen Sao village (Xuan Giang commune) procession of elephant grass, Yen Tang village (Bac Phu commune) procession of the general.
The main ritual on the main day of the Giong festival is offering bamboo flowers at Soc temple and cutting enemy generals. Bamboo flowers are made of bamboo sticks about 50cm long, about 1cm in diameter, the ends are sharpened and dyed. After the flower-offering ceremony, bamboo is released in front of the temple yard for festival-goers to take for good luck. Slashing enemy generals is done by cutting a statue, re-enacting the legend that Saint Giong used bamboo and ivory to kill the leader of the enemy, Thach Linh.

Huong Pagoda Festival is annually held at the scenic area of Huong Pagoda (or Huong Son) located in Huong Son commune, My Duc district, Hanoi. Ba Chua Xu Temple Festival is held from the night of April 23 to the end of April 27 of the lunar calendar every year. Before the main rituals take place, on the 10th day of the third lunar month, the temple management board will elect a person to lead the ceremony. This person must be a person 60 years or older, healthy, have a spouse, children and good morals. The ritual part of the Via Ba ceremony includes five ceremonies: Ba Bathing Ceremony, Thoai Ngoc Hau's request ceremony to Ba Temple, Tuc Yet Ceremony, Adoration Ceremony, and Chanh Te ceremony. The traditional festival of Hoa Lu ancient capital or Bai Dinh Festival is a traditional event held in Ninh Binh province at the beginning of the third lunar month every year. It is an occasion to remember two emperors: Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh.
The festival consists of two parts:
- The ceremony part: includes the rituals of burning incense to worship Buddha, remembering the merits of Saint Nguyen Minh Khong, offering sacrifices to the god Cao Son and adoring Holy Mother Thuong Ngan. The festival begins with the procession of a palanquin carrying the cards of God Cao Son, Saint Nguyen and Queen Thuong Ngan from the old temple area to the new temple area to conduct the festival.
- The meeting part: there are cultural and spiritual activities such as: procession, calligraphy writing; Folk games; Visit caves, visit pagodas, enjoy the art of singing Cheo, Xam and Ca Tru in the ancient capital, organize art and cultural exhibitions, introduce Bai Dinh pagoda, and Trang ecotourism area.
