Prague Zoo
Near Prague's Troian Castle is the city zoo, home to 133 endangered species. In fact, since opening in 1931, Prague Zoo has always pursued the goal of preserving endangered species with the dedication and perseverance of its staff, which we too strive to achieve through the relentless advancement of zoology research.
Prague Zoo is dedicated to protecting nature and educating the public about animal life above all else. It is not surprising that the first polar bears were born here in 1942 by artificial insemination, and a few years later, in 2004, the first gorillas were born.
