ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, 242 hectares
ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is owned by the ZSL Society, the worldwide animal protection association of animals and their natural habitat. Recognizable from miles away with the silhouette of a large white lion towering over one of the park's hills, the ZSL Whipsnade Zoo recreates special conditions like the Butterfly House, which opened in 2016 and has already become a hit with visitors. As well as a sea lion pool, a passageway through Asia accessible by car (or Jumbo Express), and Cheetah Rock.
Every day you can see a sea lion show or a colorful world bird show near the cage. It is also possible to attend photography master classes (for adults) and the Junior Zoo Academy (for children).
