Quarantine 2: Terminal

Quarantine 2: Terminal is a 2011 American horror film that is a sequel to Quarantine, which was released in 2008. Marc Bienstock produced the film, which was written and directed by John Pogue. Mercedes Mason, Josh Cooke, and Mattie Liptak star as passengers on a plane where the mutant rabies virus from the previous film has spread, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing at a terminal that is quickly surrounded by the government, trapping the passengers and crew as they search for answers and a way out.

Despite the fact that "Quarantine 2: Terminal" is a sequel to 2008's "Quarantine," it takes a completely different path from the Spanish "Rec" series that served as the inspiration for the first film. In the film, rats are responsible for transmitting a zombie virus to humans, this time to passengers on an aircraft on their way to Kansas City. After the plane makes an emergency landing, the passengers learn that they are not permitted to enter the terminal. As the military and the CDC struggle to corral the passengers and limit the spread, it becomes a war for survival. The zombie plague is spread by animals other than rats, and the infection causes afflicted people to act like rats.
