Safa Park
Safa Park is a beautiful green space two blocks inland from Jumeirah Beach, with Dubai Creek winding through the park's lawns and manicured plants. Safa Park, one of the city's earliest designated public park spaces, was established in 1975. It used to be outside the city borders, but its current location is in central Dubai.
Safa Park is known for its excellent team sports facilities, including tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, as well as a running track and the ability to rent bikes to cycle the park's trails. The park's artificial lake provides boating facilities, including pedalo boats that may be rented. There are many areas throughout the park with playground equipment for families with small children. If you want to relax and enjoy the scenery, the grass here can accommodate a large number of picnickers, and there is a designated barbecue area. If you don't want to prepare and bring your own meals, there are cafés and restaurants within the park. The park charges a small entrance fee. The closest metro stop is Business Bay.
