Zabeel Park
This large park, encompassing 51 hectares, in downtown Dubai is a favorite weekend destination for local families once the searing heat of the summer months has dissipated.
On the park's southern side, there's a dinosaur park (equipped with animatronic dinosaur models and a small museum devoted to dinosaurs) and a glowing garden (lit up with dazzling lights, creating a fairy-tale garden after dark), both of which will keep the kids delighted. Children's playground equipment may be found in a number of different designated sites around the park. Local families picnic on the spacious lawns, and local runners utilize Zabeel Park's jogging track, but the park's primary draw for city tourists is the Dubai Frame in the northeastern corner. This picture-frame-shaped observation tower takes you to a 150-meter-high sky deck with panoramic views of the city and galleries that take you through Dubai's history. There is a small entry fee to the park. Al Jafiliya is the closest metro station.
