Santo Izidro Waterfall
One of the biggest protected regions in the Atlantic Forest, the Serra da Bocaina National Park, has the Santo Isidro Waterfall. It is a memorable sight because to the waterfall's spectacular height of roughly 80 meters and the large, swimming-friendly natural pool. There is also a kid-friendly sandy beach.
The nearest to the Serra da Bocaina National Park entrance is Cachoeira Santo Izidro, which is reached through a 1.5-kilometer route. If you have the necessary bravery, you should prolong your journey to the Cachoeira do Veado waterfall, which is a required pit stop for everyone who attempts the 53-kilometer Trilha do Ouro (The Gold Trail). Halfway between São José do Barreiro in São Paulo and Paraty in Rio de Janeiro is where you may find the waterfall. Additionally, it is a great location for overnight camping.
There is no entrance fee and a two-kilometer hike will get you to the falls. There isn't much else nearby but the grandeur of nature, so pack your camera, swimsuit, food, and drink.
