Sauzier Waterfall
Located in Port Glaud and running on the Rivière L’Isletta on the west coast of Mahe Island, Seychelles is the beautiful natural waterfall called the Sauzier Waterfall. This waterfall is another wonder of Seychelles that attracts many tourists to this country. It is also said to be one of the most accessible waterfalls in Seychelles that one just can't miss when visiting the Mahe Island of Seychelles.
Sauzier Waterfall is a part of Morne Seychelles National Park. At the entrance of the waterfall, you'll see a tall, cascading waterfall falling from the fresh mountain waters of the National Park. The water flow of the waterfall is consistent year-round, even in the dry season. At the base of the waterfall, you'll see a deep swimming pool where you can take a refreshing bath.
As said above, this waterfall is very easy to reach. You only need to walk a short 5-minute trail walk from the village of Port Glaud, passing the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul. All tourists can get to Sauzier Waterfall without any help. In fact, it is advised not to take any help from locals or guides, as they can scam you and charge you unnecessarily.
