Valle de Mai Waterfall
The first waterfall on our list is a small yet beautiful and famous waterfall called the Valle de Mai Waterfall. This waterfall is said to be "the gem of Seychelles", due to its absence on google maps, and its incredible natural beauty. This waterfall is located in the Vallee de Mai National Park on Praslin Island, which was recognized by UNESCO as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Seychelles. Therefore, many tourists agree that this waterfall is one of Seychelle’s must-see attractions.
Valle de Mai Waterfall is a tiny waterfall that is only 2 meters high. But the tropical trees around it, and the sight of the waterfall's water falling down to the slippery rocks, creating small rainbows with sun rays is for sure a treat to your eyes. Visiting this waterfall, you will also have a chance to see "Coco De Mer" - the largest nut in the world, and the Black Parrot - the national bird of Seychelles in the Vallee de Mai National Park.
Since you can't find the location of this waterfall on google maps, you'll need the help of regular maps, or local residents. The road towards Valle de Mai Waterfall is quite slippery, so remember to bring water shoes and be careful on the way there!
