Seville Cathedral
The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, better known as Seville Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. It was registered in 1987 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, along with the adjoining Alcázar palace complex and the General Archive of the Indies. It is the fourth-largest church in the world (its size remains a matter of debate) as well as the largest Gothic church.
This Church has an interior area of 11,520 square meters. It is located in the Spanish city of Seville. Christopher Columbus is buried in this church, where he spent his final years as a great explorer. The French architect Rouen Cathedral created this church, which was erected on the site of the Almohad mosque. The church's interior is decorated in gold. Surprisingly, there are still a few Almohad mosques standing next to the cathedral.
