Sidi Bou Said
Sidi Bou Said beach is located on the shores of the Gulf of Carthage, in the region of the resort town of the same name, located in the north of the country, 20 km from the capital.
The narrow coast, covered with fine golden sand, lies at the foot of the hills and elegant white and blue houses. The hills, which offer spectacular views of the sea, beach, and city buildings, protect the beach from the wind. The currents are calm, and the seabed is sandy. The sea is calm. Waves emerge during the rainy season when the swimming season ends.
Sidi Bou Said is a picturesque town that is an architectural landmark. It often became a role model for artists and even appeared in one of the episodes of the famous epic about the misfortunes of blonde Angelica. Not far away, there are the ruins of Carthage, where you can take an excursion. You can reach Sidi Bou Said from the city center by taxi or metro.
