Strawberry festival

Each year, from May 21 to 23, the city of Skikda organizes the Strawberry Festival, a celebration of strawberries, a fruit abundant in the region. This event invites strawberry growers as well as visitors and individuals from all around the country.

The festival began in 1930, when members of the newly formed Plant City Lions Club came up with the idea of holding a celebration to honor the abundant strawberry harvest.

So certainly it is one of the most famous festivals in Algeria.
