  2. The city of Ghardaia is located in Algeria's Gharadaia Province, approximately 370 miles outside of Algiers. It is a historically significant city that dates back to the eleventh century.   3. The Sahara International Film Festival, also known as FiSahara, is an annual event held in the Sahrawi refugee camp, near the border with Western Sahara, in the southwest corner of Algeria. It is the world's only film festival held in a refugee camp. And it is one of the most famous festivals in Algeria.


    FiSahara was held in the Wilaya of Smara, the Wilaya of Ausserd, and the Wilaya of El Aaiun for the first three years. The event has been held in the Wilaya of Dakhla since 2007. The Polisaro front is supporting the event, although it is mostly organized and supported by donations from Spain, Western Sahara's former colonial authority.   5. Festival of du Rai d’Oran is intended to honor the hard work of musicians by bringing together a large number of musicians as well as performances by great composers to bring the day to a close with a lot of good music.


    Rai d'Oran is an annual festival conducted in August to honor the popular Algerian music genre of rai. This music genre, which first arose in the 1930s, is a sort of folk music that originated from Bedouin shepherds in the cities of Oran and An Témouchent, and was fused with Spanish, French, and Arabic sounds.
