Summer Glau

Summer Lyn Glau is an American actress and dancer best known for her roles in science fiction and fantasy television series: as Cameron in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008–2009), as River Tam in Firefly: The Next Generation (2002–2004) and its sequel film Serenity (2005), as Tess Doerner in The 4400 (2005–2007), and as Isabel Rochev/Ravager in Arrow (2013–2014).

For most of her adolescent years, she was even homeschooled in order to accommodate her dancing instruction. In order to accommodate her ballet studies, Summer Glau was homeschooled from grades 3 through 12 and acquired a scholarship to a dance company. She also studied flamenco and tango in addition to classical ballet. Glau relocated to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue acting after a fractured toe put a stop to her dancing career.
