Szechenyi Thermal Bath

Szechenyi Thermal Bath & Pools is a mixed bathing complex in Budapest's City Park. All 18 of its pools (thermal pools, steam baths, plunge pools, fitness pool, and so on) are open to both men and women, as well as children over the age of 14. The century-old geothermal medicinal spa is Budapest, Hungary's most popular bath palace. The other thermal spa facilities include saunas, steam rooms, aqua fitness, whirlpool, jets, sun decks, massage therapies, facial treatments, etc.

The greatest time to visit Budapest's Szechenyi Baths is about 10 a.m., when the locals have just gone after swimming laps in the outdoor pool and the tourists have yet to arrive. If you can't make it in the morning, the optimum time to visit Szechenyi Spa is around 1.30 p.m., when the morning guests have gone to lunch and the following batch has yet to arrive. By 3.30 p.m., the pools are once again busy.

Kids under two years of age can enter Szechenyi Baths for free – that is, they get a 100% discount. There is no other discount on Szechenyi Baths tickets. All visitors above two years, all students and all seniors pay the same ticket price to enter the Thermal pools.
