Tales from the Crypt
Tales from the Crypt, also known as HBO's Tales from the Crypt, was an American horror anthology television series that aired on the premium cable channel HBO for seven seasons and 93 episodes from June 10, 1989, to July 19, 1996. The show's title is based on the same-named EC Comics series from the 1950s, and the majority of the content comes from it or other EC Comics from the time (The Haunt of Fear, The Vault of Horror, Crime SuspenStories, Shock SuspenStories, and Two-Fisted Tales).
Horror stories based on E.C. Comics from the 1940s and 1950s, introduced by special effects artist Kevin Yagher's Cryptkeeper. Terri Hatcher, Demi Moore, Martin Sheen, Treat Williams, Margo Kidder, and Joe Pesci were among the guests. While the series was still in production, edited repeats were broadcast on Fox.
