Tatsuya Shiba

Tatsuya Shiba, the Irregular at Magic High School, is the smartest anime wizard. He possesses a genius-level brain and can readily invent new magic sequences using his particular powers and analytical thinking. In April 2095, he and his younger sister, Miyuki, enrolled at the National Magic University Affiliated First High School. He was accepted as one of the students to be placed in the Course 2 curriculum, which marked the beginning of the chain of events. He transferred into the newly founded Magic Engineering Course in his second year.

He is able to quickly categorize people as hostile or non-aggressive due to his unique analytical ability. Tatsuya, contrary to common and general assumption, is not heartless to the point of deserving the name. He can be nice and attentive to his pals, and he can even taunt them for fun. Even though he appears cold and heartless, he has a warm side and can become highly emotional, particularly when it comes to his sister, Miyuki.

Tatsuya Shiba is a man who, despite being in desperate difficulties and losing even his emotional freedom, believes in himself and his ability to change the world for the better.
