Télécom Paris

Télécom Paris is a public engineering research university. Télécom Paris, also known as France's MIT, provides multidisciplinary and specialized engineering training at the bachelor's and master's levels. The curriculum at this prestigious French university is divided into four departments: Electronics and Communication, Signal and Image Processing, Computer Science and Networking, and Economic and Social Sciences.

It is located in Palaiseau and is a member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris and the Institut Mines-Télécom. According to the World University Rankings, it was the sixth-best French university and the seventh-best small university in the world in 2021. Télécom Paris is the 64th best university in the world for Computer Science, according to the QS Ranking.

Télécom, like other French higher education universities, has a selective admissions process, with international students accounting for more than one-third of the student body. Télécom's name has changed several times over the years, but its long-standing commitment to productive networking and technology has not.
