The Scottish Fold
The Scottish Fold is a cross between Scottish Fold cats and other straight-eared cats such as British Shorthair cats, Persian cats, Munchkin cats, etc. If two cats mated with each other have folded ears, the kittens born will be very difficult to live. Because of such diverse parents, Scottish Fold cats not only have characteristic drooping ears but can also carry some other characteristics of their parents such as short hair, long hair, flat face, or short legs.
The purebred Scottish Fold is medium-sized with a well-rounded body. An adult can weigh from 3-6kg, depending on gender. Scottish Fold cat has a round, plump head, high cheekbones, and large, glittering eyes with diverse eye colors such as blue eyes, gray eyes, smokey eyes, blue eyes. Scottish Fold cat has large, strong legs, not long, but not as short as Munchkin cats. Folded-eared cats can be long-haired cats or short-haired cats. The coat color is also very diverse. The most popular are: gray, silver, tabby, and bicolor.
