The world's first institution of higher education to provide scientific education in the field of veterinary medicine was founded in Lyon in early 1762 by Claude BOURGELATOM and his colleagues. This great achievement of the Faculty of Veterinary Lyon has opened up many new Faculties of Veterinary Medicine from all over Europe that can be visited in a short time.
Its mission is to train competent veterinarians with a rigorous scientific approach by adopting modern educational principles and producing public information and services to improve public health and produce healthy animals in Istanbul, the city that connects Asia and Europe.
