Chef Tom Jeon, who runs the restaurant, is a well-known figure in the industry. Although he appears to be a young man in comparison to most sushi masters, he has over a decade of experience in traditional Japanese cuisine. Because of how crowded it gets here at night, it's difficult to consider it a hidden gem. However, if you go, their nigiri and maki selection will completely satisfy you. The best part about Tom Sushi's maki is that you can have it made into a hand-roll for free. If you're lucky, they'll still have negitoro available. If not, the negihama and bluefin are equally delicious. Take advantage of generous slices that are both fresh and delicious. If you're looking to fill up, their udon is highly recommended.
