Tsukuba International School
Established in 1992, Tsukuba International School is a shining example of diversity, equality, and opportunity, believing in the transformative power of education for a brighter future.
With around 300 students from pre-kindergarten to Grade 12, the school creates a close-knit community where each student receives individual attention. The highly qualified and passionate teachers, hailing from various parts of the world, bring diverse experiences to the classroom.
Situated in the scenic Kamiya Forest in Kamigo, Tsukuba, the school is proud to be a fully accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. Since 2011, they have offered the Primary Years Programme (PYP), followed by the Middle Years Programme (MYP) since 2014 and the Diploma Programme (DP) since 2017.
As the sixth full continuum IB World School in Japan and the only one in Ibaraki Prefecture, Tsukuba International School ensures students receive a top-notch education preparing them for global success.
