Tsuta Numa Lake
Everyone is familiar with the name Lake Asi when referring to the well-known lakes in Japan. Change your visit to Lake Tsuta Numa - Aomori this autumn. The largest of the seven Tsuta Nana Numa lagoons, Lake Tsuta Numa, lies in this region. A large ancient forest surrounds this lovely shoreline. It is the largest of the lakes with aqueducts, with a circumference of almost 1 km.
Mount Akakura, with a height of 1,298 meters, is located far to the left of the lake. This mountain collapsed about 300,000 years ago, creating Lake Tsutanuma. There is a little marshy region to the right of the lake's coast where Japanese irises are in bloom. Every autumn, the lake's surface is illuminated by the glowing red and yellow foliage, which appears to be thousands of fire lights. The fireflies' dazzling light adds to the lake's ethereal beauty on cool autumn nights when the weather is cool and the sky is filled with stars. The lake in Tsuta Numa is regarded as Tsuta Forest's symbol.
