While Victor Victoria isn't as well-known as some of Julie Andrews' other musical roles, it is nonetheless one of her most memorable. In this film, Julie plays Victoria, a singer who has a hard time finding a steady and profitable job. That is until Victoria encounters a cabaret singer who decides to transform Victoria into a guy impersonating a woman. It rapidly makes her popular, but given that it's all a fake, they have to tread carefully throughout the film, providing a tremendous sense of drama.
