Volkswagen Group is a German multinational corporation in the field of automobile manufacturing with headquarters in Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony. The Group is engaged in the design, manufacture, and distribution of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, automobile engines and turbine engines, as well as financial services and transport management.
The Volkswagen Group produces cars under the Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, SEAT, Škoda and Volkswagen brands; motorcycles with the Ducati brand; commercial vehicles under the brands' MAN, Scania and so on. Currently, this group operates in nearly 150 countries with 100 factories and representatives in 27 countries.
In addition, the group owns a 19.9% non-controlling stake in Suzuki and is the main shareholder in two major Chinese firms—FAW-Volkswagen and Shanghai Volkswagen.
