The Vose family has been involved in the art industry for more than 300 years and has managed more than 34,000 American paintings, including the estates of more than 25 painters, and is one of the Best Art Galleries in Boston. Paintings by Vose are displayed in over 150 museums, and the gallery has contributed to the development of countless public and private collections. The largest collection of American realist paintings in New England can be seen in our Newbury Street brownstone in Boston, Massachusetts, where we cordially encourage you to stop by. Fine art is shown on each of the building's five stories. Along with focusing on works from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, Vose has vowed to support top current realist painters who have undertaken the hard training necessary to master centuries-old painting techniques and apply them in novel new ways.
