Founded by professional soccer players Nobuhiro Mori and Keiji Ishizuka of the J-League, Wacko Maria is an underground streetwear fashion brand originating from Tokyo. Its main inspirations revolve around American culture, film, music, photography and girls.


The brand is known for its patterned shirts and outdoor wear with intricate embroidery details, combined with traditional artwork such as religious symbols or classic Americana slogans. Wacko Maria succeeds in creating high-quality and unique products. And of course, it's become one of the most loved brands of fashionistas such as Know Wave's Aaron Bondaroff. This brand collaborated with some of the biggest names from the underground art world as LA tattooist Tim Lehi and Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama.
