White Beach
White Beach is a stretch of snow-white sand on Suriname's river near its estuary. The beach was created with the intention of attracting tourists. The vacation town of Domburg is only a few kilometers away. Paramaribo, the capital, is roughly 25-28 kilometers away. The entire journey is on a busy highway with regular buses and taxis.
White Beach is a popular spot for people of the capital to unwind and swim. It is also possible to pick up a visitor with pleasure. The beach has good facilities. In the river, there is a metal netting that guards against predatory fish. The sand on the beach is cleaned and replaced on a regular basis. The water is not very clean, not subject to the temperature changes from currents. The abundance of restaurants, water sports, and cafés will keep you entertained throughout the weekend.
